Please note that due to the size of our restaurant we offer staggered seatings between 5pm and 10:45pm. Dining durations vary on the size of the party and availability.

Typically, groups are limited to a maximum of 10 guests, but please call us to discuss options as there are instances where we may have some flexibility. To serve you better, groups of 8 or more have the benefit of a 3-course family menu. We are happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions as long as we are given 36 hour notice and look forward to discussing details regarding group menus over the phone when placing reservations.

We are also able to accommodate larger groups for private events at Tuck Shop as well. With the help of our chef we can design a bespoke menu for your event. More details regarding buy outs of the restaurant please contact Amelia Stines by email at amelia@tuckshop.ca.

Gift certificates can be purchased in person at the restaurant Tuesday through Saturday as of 1:00pm. They can also be purchased over the phone and mailed directly to you or your guests.

Tuck Shop Chef and co-founder Theo Lerikos

our story

Jon Bloom, Amelia Stines and Chef Theo Lerikos created Tuck Shop in 2010 after meeting at the Montreal institution Monkland Taverne. Their objective was to open a small neighbourhood restaurant with a simple seasonal menu in a comfortable atmosphere. Their shared passion has always been an emphasis on using quality ingredients to create comforting and flavourful dishes while offering attentive and passionate service. Their fourth partner, Jonathan Metcalfe, was hired shortly after opening and joined the ownership group after embracing their commitment to creating an unparalleled customer experience after working every possible position on their service team.

Their first foray as independent restauranteurs, they chose Saint Henri for it’s proximity to downtown and the landmark Atwater Market along the Lachine Canal. Saint Henri has traditionally been known as a working-class neighbourhood while it was a central hub for leather tanneries and the railroad industry. At the start of the second decade of the 21st century, the modernization of the Lachine Canal and its main artery of Notre Dame led to the Southwest’s development into the destination borough which Jon, Theo and Amelia envisioned when they first opened. Now, Montreal’s Southwest boasts one of the strongest concentrations of casual and fine dining venues in the city thanks to the development of an incredible restaurant community based primarily along Notre Dame.
